If you come into my classroom, you will see a television that is from the 90's! Hence, my television is over 20 years old! Close your eyes and try to envision what that looks like to a teenager today! I am a math teacher. One of the questions that I constantly hear from my students is "When will I ever use this?" Now, go back to that television you are envisioning in your mind earlier. Does it impress you? Do you think it would impress a teenager today? Now, imagine the videos and resources that can be used to answer that age old question on a brand new flat screen! Who knows what theses videos and resources could spark in one of my students because of this resource - a future mathematician? an future engineer? I am excited about the possibilities.
