The greatest gift we can give students during the elementary years is a driving curiosity, a belief in their abilities, a thirst for knowledge, and a passion to grow. With these skills in their toolbox, they will be equipped to tackle the challenges of higher education and the real world. No matter where their life journey takes them. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. I will set up a STEM workshop in my classroom. All of the materials will be stored on shelves with each activity in its own container. The students will build structures that would improve their critical thinking skills. Students will learn that they are creative, which in turn, improves their self confidence. Students with learning disabilities often feel bad about themselves because unable to keep up academically with their general education peers. Having STEM projects will allow them to achieve skills that they otherwise couldn't accomplish by using written material or texts. They will also improve their problem solving and math skills with these hands on activities, as well as, learn more about general science.
