These materials will allow my students to focus better in the classroom. Flexible seating such as stools and lap desks allows students to sit in a fashion, that is best suited to their personal learning style. Flexible seating will also encourage my students to work within their groups, and will allow for more freedom when working in groups. Please help my 5th graders, have this option this year. They have been asking about it, and have worked hard to show me that they can handle having flexible seating in our classroom. I know they would be forever grateful for this opportunity. The book bins would be to hold their materials when they are in the classroom because they would no longer have the desk slots. The cart would be to hold additional materials for the students. The lap desk would be for students who want to work on the floor, or on the flexible cushions.
