Additional laptops in our classroom will allow my students increased access to programs that provide individualized skills practice in literacy and math. Extra laptops means more students will be able to access literacy and math programs that target the skills each individual student needs. Providing my students with laptops offers our change-makers of tomorrow greater access to the world outside of our classroom. It will also provide my students with opportunities to research topics we are learning about in class, as well as topics they are passionate about. More laptops means students will have increased practice revising their writing electronically, and using research skills to pursue their interests.
