We have an excited population of students who want to learn how to play an instrument. Our mallet percussion section is one of the largest in every class, but we do not have enough materials to satisfy the current and growing demand. Their ability levels are increasing also. With this new marimba, this will help to increase the number of students who want to play a mallet percussion instrument. It will also allow advancing students to learn four mallet technique as well as give them the ability to play different types of world music, which will also increase their musical knowledge.

About my class
