I am wanting to increase hands-on learning that involves STEAM-centered lessons. Not only do I want to improve their learning experience with what they are required to learn, but I'm wanting to teach them real-life lessons. The indoor smart garden will be used to grow our own vegetables and herbs. We will study the cycles of our plant growth and then use the vegetables to cook. Their will be many math lessons involved (counting, adding, subtracting, shapes, etc.). To be able to have an end product, we would love to have a toaster oven and blender. This will only engage the students more and provide them with life skills.
