They are hard working and like to explore. We do a variety of activities through individual and group exploration. My students are eager to learn in a whole group setting. They have a desire to take control of their own learning. A classroom rug would give us the opportunity to have a meeting place and group learning place. Having a classroom rug would give students the opportunity to learn using flexible seating and not have to be in chairs all the time. The large carpet will be placed in the front of the classroom and used as a gathering place during mini-lessons and share time.
