The students at Community Action School come from low-income backgrounds where they have not experienced high-tech or exciting labs in elementary school. They are driven students, working hard in 7th and 8th grade to prepare to apply to high school and move forward with their education. By the end of their time at CAS many students are interested in applying directly to Science high schools and continuing to study and apply their knowledge to the field. We have a great school focused on working together and providing helpful, team environments and new experiences for all of our students. The school is a fantastic place to learn, with students who are eager to come to school each day. With your support our students will be able to experience much more than they are currently able, closing the education gap and allowing our students to achieve even more!
