In a world of technology there are so many resources to take advantage of. Google Classroom , Kahoot, and Movenote, just to name a few. Having Chromebooks in our 5th grade Science classroom will allow my favorite little people to look past the walls of our classroom and into the wide world of adventure. They will be able to follow along with lessons more closely when slides are directly in front of them, offer instant feedback and get personalized lessons from me. We are also able to go on virtual fieldtrips. We can do all of these things while reducing the use of paper materials- good for both the environment and the use of classroom time. No more wasting time passing out papers and making copies! As we work towards our goal of 1:1 Chromebooks, students get the opportunity to take control of their learning and look for challenges. Students will have instant access to knowledge and get the opportunity to grow digital literacy skills to become career-ready.
