Our class will be a model of exploration for the rest of the school. We hope to move toward a paperless environment that fosters community learning. We will show the other classes that second and first graders have insights that connect to the world. The iPads will enable students to work beyond the screen and apply apps that extend learning instead of just entertaining. The 3D Doodle pens will create spatial awareness that can be developed at an early age. The Frisbees are for mobile collaboration and used to stack and carry tools and models, as well as use for physical eduation. These items will benefit this class and other students to come.
