We are approaching our weather and climate unit and we would love to have an experience that most of our students have not experienced in their lives. Living in New York City doesn’t necessarily allow students to easily see erosion, deposition and weathering around them, so seeing it in action inside our classroom will allow them to experience it in a unique way. We will embark on an investigation with hands-on stream erosion kits and weather models that will provide a fascinating understanding of natural phenomena such as erosion, deposition, landslides, dew point, humidity and climate change. However, in order to give them this unique experience, we urgently need your help; this is where your contribution will be tremendously appreciated in our classroom. Your support and contribution are imperative and you can definitely make a change in the lives of our students’ education. I can’t wait to share with you how my students begin their weather and climate hands-on investigation, thanks to your support.
