Our third, fourth, fifth and sixth grade students will be putting on an amazing production of Disney's The Lion King. This is our 3rd and final year with the Disney Musicals in Schools program. Most of our students have had no exposure to musical theater and this program is a valuable opportunity for those students to experience the arts. Students will not only be involved in dancing, singing, and collaborating with their peers and our team of teachers, they will be involved in the creation of sets, props, and costumes. With your help and through your generosity, students will be able to create their own sets and props with the arts and crafts materials provided. Participating in our performance of The Lion King will build students' self-esteem, which in turn leads to overall improvement in their school and personal success. Their self-confidence and pride will be seen by parents, teachers, administration, and their peers. Through commitment, collaboration, and perseverance, students will successfully create and perform a spectacular musical production.

About my class
