As educators, it is imperative that we teach our students how to be successful; however, how can we do so when we are lacking basic materials? I am requesting basic classroom supplies and math manipulatives to help my students master essential math skills, in addition to a storage unit with a few organization bins. Seventh grade students have a difficult time understanding math concepts, especially when they are not engaged in the subject. Dry erase boards are more than just pencil and paper. By each student having dry erase boards, students are always more excited about doing their work. My students love to be challenged and love learning new things. By having math games, students can have fun and be challenged at the same time. My students will get to use the supplies right away. They will not have to worry about not having supplies to get them through the day. They will also know that the supplies are readily available and easy to access when needed.
