This reading corner will increase students' interest in reading and reduce frustration. It will also keep them engaged and see reading as a fun activity instead of a frustrating boring activity, and as a teacher that's what I fight for daily. The students will have increased their independent reading skills and no longer feel the need to give up on reading because its too hard. The items in this reading corner have been hand picked with all my students in mind and the desire to see confidence and reading levels rise.
