The resources included in this project will support my classroom community in several ways. The folders and pencils will help me ensure that all of my students can thoughtfully complete their classwork. The sticky note paper will help me incorporate more movement into my classroom as these will be used to allow students to walk around the room to take notes and share ideas in writing. The colored pencils and markers will be used to support the creative side of students and be used for projects. My hope for students is that they leave middle school loving to read! The books included in this project will make my classroom library more interesting as they were chosen by students. I can better support literacy by having books on my shelves that students gravitate toward. My students will also feel that they have voice and choice about what they get to learn when they see these books on the shelves.
