I need technology in my classroom to help the growing minds of my exceptional students! Right now, access to technology for my class is limited. I would like to get 5 laptops to have available in my classroom in order to allow technology access to small groups of students. Many of the programs and curriculum I have available to me either requires or recommends the use of laptops or other mobile devices when working with groups of students or monitoring progress. Fully utilizing several of these resources has been difficult due to lack of access to mobile devices. There are many online resources available that would be beneficial for helping my students to be fully engaged in class, especially to sparking their interest in literacy, math, and career exploration activities. We would love to be able to easily access resources such as Khan Academy, Quizlet, Kahoot, Canvas, and many others! I would like to obtain 5 laptops to be used within our special education classes at my school to help us access these resources.
