Our students come from a high poverty area. Many of their homes do not have internet access. Many rely on community rec centers for access to technology. It's hard to have an equal opportunity, when our state test is computer based, but our computer access isn't up to par. We have so many amazing computer based programs available to us, but we can't use them with ease until we have a few more tablets available. I'd love to be able to add a few more tablets to our classroom! Our students are being compared to students in schools who have a computer for every child. Our students deserve to have the same opportunity.

About my class
