Flexible seating helps improve attention spans of young learners. Flexible seating will increase learning stamina. Currently students are allowed to stand at their tables when they need some wiggle time while working. They also have cube chairs to sit in on the rug as well as use of clip boards to lay on the floor and complete center work. We are learning about making appropriate choice when in this alternative seating. We are learning to stay in our own bubble space, stay focused and make responsible choices where we will do our best work. The products I am requesting will allow more of my students the opportunity to be comfortable and have choice. This will positively impact their time here at school and increase their focus.
