I have 30 third grade children: some are native Californians, but many speak more than one language at home. Our public school has about 800 students enrolled K-5 and has great parent involvement and interest in the kids' success. Our district, like all those in CA, has had to make hard choices to meet state budget demands. Funding to the site and classrooms has been cut dramatically. Thank you to Donors Choose and its members for assisting us in creating competitive and modern facilities for these future citizens.
