My students live on a reservation in South Dakota. The school they attend is beautiful and filled with amazing teachers and students. However, my students face many hardships at home such as abuse, alcoholism and poverty. Despite this, they come to school every day, ready to learn and willing to listen. Every one of my students want to go to college and want to change the reservation.
