I am new to teaching first grade. Having just moved to First grade from Kindergarten, we are in need of unifix cubes to help the children have a firm foundation of concrete math skills. They will enjoy these manipulatives while learning. Your donations will help my children to become learners that are excited about learning and think learning is fun! A Chromebook will also help the children and me have a successful year. I will use it for teacher work such as inputting grades at home. Also, it can be used to assess the children on various skills and I can put it into my Daily Five or math station rotations. The children will also have another option of adding stuff to their Seesaw account. They can type a google doc and then add it to their account. The iPad storage and charging station will allow for the children to gain independence during Daily Five. Also it benefit the kids by keeping the iPads charged and accessible. The pencil sharpener is a must in the classroom. We are busy writing a lot and having a quiet pencil sharpener will help my class run smoothly.
