'Design Adventure' encompasses a variety of different teaching models (Project Based Learning, Universal Design for Learning, Genius Hour) to offer students a well rounded approach to learning. Rooted with the S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) concept, students work together on challenges to practice and strengthen their thinking, planning, communicating, compromising, constructing, testing, and reflecting skills. Regardless if the task is to design or construct something using a deck of cards, or construct a ferris wheel using spaghetti and playdough, students have the freedom to research, visualize, and create their ideas.
