Our whole kindergarten group will be learning about space for the two weeks leading up to our field trip. We will be talking about all the planets, the moon and the sun along with the stars. We want our kids to get excited about space before we go on our field trip, so we will be looking at a lot of books, videos, and read alouds. Our kids deserve to explore and learn about space through a hands on and innovative approach. Coming from such a small community many of our kids will not be able to experience something like this outside of school and we want them to get excited about what they are learning. Going to this museum will leave an everlasting memory for them to cherish for years to come.
