My students are noticeably more engaged in their learning and less disruptive of their peers when they are given a variety of ways to release their abundance of energy. With the use of these fine motor toys, like pegs and architectural building sets the students will have the opportunity to target their struggles with hand eye coordination. The bean bags will create a cozy environment for reading time where each student gets to pick from a number of books to read and enjoy with their teacher or with their peers. Along with the food toys, the pots and pans will allow the students to practice mature like behaviors that they can take with them into the real world as functional individuals of a community. Please help me pave the road for a productive, multi functional, and exceptional future for our students with Down Syndrome. Thank You.
