The clipboards will allow my students to travel around the room and outside to get ideas for writing their stories. The crayons and pencils will help them complete this activity. My students love colored paper; they make book covers for their stories and share them with each other. I want to ensure my students have a love of writing and reading. I want them to know their words have power and build their self-esteem. My students come from low income families, and they cannot afford this supplies on their own. I want them to feel pride in all they do.
