These twenty-four stories will be used to kick off each character education lesson. My eager students will be seated at the rug listening to the adventures of many characters, while learning valuable life lessons they will carry with them throughout their lives! Additionally, these stories will be available to students who many need individual or small group support as well. In the small group setting, I will be able to dig deep into the lessons our imaginary adventures take us on, while reflecting on their own experiences. Children love listening to stories and I know they will be captivated by these carefully selected books. These books are linked to valuable lessons in kindness, respect, empathy, anti-bullying, caring and compassion. Character education is embedded in the climate and culture of our school and this donation will enhance the positive school environment we aim for every day.
