I will create an escape room for my students. Using stories, math history, and solving mathematical problems at their level, they will find the clues to "escape the room." There will be a variety of clues and different types of locks where they must use teamwork to figure out. They will have a direction lock, key locks, word locks and 3 and 4 digit number locks to solve. Students will be engaged with the fun aspect of the game while still learning valuable skills like the math knowledge, teamwork, problem solving, and perseverance to continue when it gets hard. My hope is for the students to leave with a smile on their face and math in their brain.
