I teach high school students to write and design the school newspaper and school yearbook. The newspaper design and yearbook layouts are created using spreads on laptops. The students have extensive knowledge of Google products to complete their assignments. My school is a rural school district and the funds are limited for updating technology and to produce the school newspaper. I hope to create a digital newspaper to allow alumni and community members to access it at any location, instead of only in our hometown. With technology ever changing, it is vital for our students to be exposed to new career opportunities.

About my class
