The students in my third-grade classroom come from many different cultures and backgrounds. Having a diverse classroom also means I have a large group of ESL students. These students walk in the classroom knowing that they're going to try their best to kick up their learning abilities no matter what it takes. I strive have students recognize their talents and success, rather than defining them by their struggles. Many students in my class come from low-income families, and creating a comfy environment in the classroom is my priority as a teacher. The more comfortable my students get in the classroom, the more they are fearless and full of energy to learn.
