I am a third grade teacher and at public school I've been teaching at for over 15 years. I've seen many changes in our urban school. Test scores have gone up, administrators have improved the overall physical and academic appearance of our campus. We are in a very urban, somewhat industrial area where most students are receiving free/reduce lunch. Our school recently received an extensive remodel including many high tech upgrades but due to extreme budget cuts we are left with a beautiful campus but no way to access our technology. Currently I'm am supposed to be a test classroom for a high-tech math program but need a laptop so that I can provide demonstrations to the students in front of the classroom.
