Most Reedley High School FCCLA students are from low socio-economic backgrounds. By providing meals for the students, they will will be able to attend and perform at the ultimate levels for success. They meet every Monday to practice speeches, put together presentation boards, and conduct research for their competitive events. Students will vie for awards, scholarships, and prizes during the leadership and career development activities referred to as Competitive Recognition Events. By providing meals for the students, they will be able to perform at the ultimate levels of their abilities at state competition. A variety of leadership activities have been planned, involving students during general sessions, workshops, committee meetings, and region meetings.
