It is important for children in school to have play time with one another to work on social skills and cooperation with one another. I would like to have these activities to help with this skill. I like to see kids work in groups and this is the perfect chance to do this. Conducting team building activities with children can help children work on developing the following skills: problem solving, communication, cooperation, listening, self-esteem, idea exchange, and leadership. Games such as Candyland, Checkers, Stone Soup and others will help my students gain these skills. When communities collaborate with each other it involves more than routine everyday contact. It encourages everyone to play a part and feel a sense of service "ownership." Collaboration between others help communication and respectful relationships.
