As young children are learning and gaining digital skills, Kindle Fire tablets are easier tools to navigate than Chromebooks or other devices with a touch pad or a mouse. Many times, young students spend a lot of idle time when they are given an opportunity to learn with a device because they are unable to manipulate the mouse or the touch pad. Giving them access to the tablets will help them develop all content standards through fun and engaging apps and websites. They will be able to practice their core content standards independently and will gain confidence as a digital learner and this will help them transition to using a variety of digital resources in the future.
