The thrill you feel the first time you hear Stars and Stripes Forever pales in comparison to the thrill you feel the first time you play Stars and Stripes Forever. The thud of the bass drum on the beat is satisfying and one of the most often mimed musical motions among the elementary crowd. But miming only satiates for so long. A fifth grade percussionist needs a bass drum to play this very important march fundamental and the fifth grade band needs a bass drum to help keep the beat as they learn the fundamentals of music. Please support our new 5th grade band students as we work to build a program that creates young musicians with thirst for becoming better and a drive that only a solid bass drum part can provide.
