For my elementary school health room I am in need of a variety of snacks and clothing, specifically unisex shorts, sweatpants and boys underwear. Learning is hard work and can sometimes be messy. Children shouldn't have to worry about having access to clean clothing or having a growling stomach. Things like spare clothes and snacks can be more than families can afford as they try and make ends meet every week. A lack of basic needs should never hinder the high levels of learning our students are capable of. Unisex mesh shorts and pants can get a student back in class faster after they've spilled milk on themselves or even had a bathroom accident. By having these in the health room, I don't have to wait for their guardians to leave work and bring a change of clothes. By having snacks available, I can help curb the hunger of students whose only meal of the day may be at school

About my class
