With this equipment we will be able to replace our worn out and falling apart equipment. We do not have an annual budget to replace equipment as it becomes ineffective. This equipment will allow us to have each student have their own ball to practice on and use to maximize their learning opportunities. Most schools are trying to get to 1:1 on computers so there is no wasted time and maximizing learning outcomes. With grades 3-5 individual skill learning or improvement is fundamental to maximizing learning opportunities. Our students wont have to share equipment between 3 or 5 students. Basic soccer and basketball drills will be performed by each student. The basketballs with the hand imprints will allow our lower functioning students to grasp the fundamentals better. We will be able to choose drills and learning opportunities that will increase activity and participation levels in our class.
