I want to provide an environment where my students can focus and engage with their reading materials. Students who can tune out unwanted noise and calm their restless bodies make more focused learners. With wiggle seats, my students who need movement to hone in their attention can become more engaged in the learning process. And with headphones students can focus on their work and books without unwanted distractions. I believe that these will really help my students improve and focus in all academic areas. I also requested some book titles from this year’s battle of the books list. I want to encourage my students to participate and read a variety of books to find what interests them. With your help I believe I can really help my students engage more and improve on their reading skills.
