These ball seats allow my students to safely wiggle and move while they are crafting their essays, reading, working together on social studies projects and more. Currently, students are falling over because they lean back in traditional chairs. They are constantly jeopardizing their own safety and the safety of those around them because they just can't help themselves. It's an absent-minded reflex to wiggle and lean. Making sure students are safe and comfortable is an essential component in motivating them. I have noticed amazing differences in my students when they are allowed the freedom of movement. They are more engaged and get more work completed than when they are just sitting at a standard seat. My students are noticeably more engaged in their work and less disruptive of their peers when they are allowed to wiggle and move during the day. The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them the ability to wiggle and lean in a safe way. The ball seats are a stable way to allow movement. These will be extremely beneficial for my students who only get 15 minutes of recess a day! I have seen how movement can positively affect my students work and demeanor and hope that the ball seats will help us grow even more!
