Students sign up for our fishing team each year because of their passion for the sport, yet most have very limited tackle and gear. If the items for this project are donated, students will be better prepared for tournament competition. The fishing rods and reels can be kept in each adult captain's boat so students can use them whenever necessary. Since safety is our first concern while on the water, the life vests are a "must have" for our anglers. The plan is for our boat captains to store the life vests on their boats so they can be worn by our anglers at each tournament.
