As a new district initiative, each of my sixth graders has been provided with a brand new chromebook for use during the 2018-2019 school year! My team of teachers and I wrote a grant for this project and were thrilled to learn that our students would be awarded for this year. To make online resources most beneficial for our students, we are asking for a class set of headphones for our students to use throughout the year. Headphones will allow students to work at their own pace and to re-listen to stories and rewatch educational videos if needed, without distracting their peers. Students will be able to connect with web pals all over the world. They will be able to collaborate with one another in designing multimedia presentations.
