I am a first year teacher and would love to provide the best for my students. Unfortunately, there are many classroom items needed to adequately start up a classroom. Morning meetings build a sense of community and belonging. A carpet will help bring us together to achieve that goal. My students are already eager to help others. I would love to continue to foster that innate desire. Third grade is a big year for students. At times, it can be make or break in regards to a thirst for knowledge. Flexible seating with bungee chairs will entice students to get cozy with a good book and continue seeking answers to their instinctive curiosity.
