Technology provides countless benefits for English Learners. Many of my projects and activities can be enhanced with the use of Chromebooks. For example, during a unit on Digital Literacy, students can work in small groups to learn how to successfully research a topic and avoid plagiarism. Students can use the Let's Recap App for a variety of projects. They can record, revise, and re-record themselves speaking in English. These Chromebooks will allow me to bring lessons to life, and to bring real life lessons into the classroom. Most of all, they will support my students in a variety of activities that will help increase their English language proficiency.
