In this day and age, it can be difficult to not only motivate students to want to learn math skills like adding, subtracting and using place value, but also to engage them in the learning and make it enjoyable. Finding inviting and exciting games and manipulatives like that catch the child's attention and assist them on there journey of learning can be difficult. Research has proven that the more interested a child is in a topic or subject, the more likely they will engage in the learning. This being said, providing games and manipulatives such as Light 'N' Strike and Word's Out that interest the children is integral to motivating them in the learning.

About my class
