When learning abstract concepts, children with hearing loss require explicit teaching and visuals. With the ink I’ve requested, I will be able to provide my students with colorful instruction. The laminating pockets will help preserve printed material and allow my students to be engaged in interactive task cards. Such hands-on tasks include sorting pictures by syllables to increase phonological awareness, memory matching CVC words with pictures, addition fact matching, and filling in gaps on a hundred chart to practice counting forward. The colored paper will be used for students to create interactive English Language Arts and Math notebooks. My students will practice newly learned skills in their notebooks by demonstrating work through colorful sorting pockets and flaps that they’ve created. Help me give my students a colorful and interactive learning experience!
