These materials will make a difference for students in collaborative, resource and general education classes. This graphic novel of Edgar Allen Poe's short stories are specifically geared towards struggling readers. This graphic novel set would allow them to grow in their knowledge of American Literature, and also strengthen their reading and comprehension skills. These novels will be used for grades 9-12. Most of the students using these materials would be in a special education resource classroom, or a co-taught classroom with struggling readers. This novel set would allow many students an insight into literature using graphics and visual arts. This is a tool that could benefit many students for years to come.
