These materials will help create a fun but effective learning environment. Working with students who are 5 and 6 it can be challenging at times to keep their attention. The flexible seating is appealing to those students who cant "stand" to sit still in a chair. The listening center is going to engage students who are not at teacher time with me and they can independently work with out disturbing me and the other students at teacher time. The writing center activity will also be used during this time. While I am working with small groups at teacher time the writing center will engage the other group who will be working independently .
