Our students are working in collaborive groups to create and design projects in our classroom such as wind instruments for our weather unit, mobile vehicles for our forces in motion unit and multiple ideas that go along with our literature. For example, we recently read a book about the Wright brothers and the first airplane. The students were so enthusiastic about trying to design their own airplanes! Incorporating a 3D printer and this technology will take their thinking to a whole new level by creating something real! The collaboration in groups is a great learning environment for our kids and a skill they can use in their everyday life.
