My students come from low socioeconomic backgrounds. A lot of them have never seen the ocean let alone the Red Woods. Alliance Redwoods offers science classes, hikes through the Red Woods, night hikes, team building exercises, challenge courses, and a night fire. This year they raised their prices, which is why I need your help! So please, help make this Outdoor Education trip possible to Alliance Redwoods for my 5th grade students. Help them get away from technology and experience the beauty of nature! Help them build respect and love for nature while learning about ecology. Help my students experience a once in a lifetime opportunity.
