We are requesting an interactive whiteboard to be able to show students many more math concepts and have them manipulate the material hands-on. As a whole class, we can discover how things move and change and students can teach each other as well. In every math class, it is so important that students have a strong understanding of graphs and shapes, with this tool we will be able to ensure the whole class stays engaged and target their learning in a fun and hands on way. I have one small whiteboard in my class. With this interactive whiteboard my students will be able to share and edit each other's work and display it so that they can learn from one another through their work. It will enhance the majority of activities in my classroom and give the students the opportunity a hands on approach to manipulate objects, graphs and functions.
