These materials combined with my existing materials will help create a warm and inviting space where students feel comfortable learning. The beanbags and the rug will help accomplish this. My students need access to organization; the spiral binder machine will allow us to create projects like student made books that are professionally bound. My 11th grade students complete a project that asks them to delve into who they are at this time in their lives, and being able to present the project in a professional manner will increase the sense of ownership. I try to incorporate multiple intelligences in my classroom projects, and my students need scissors and folders in order to complete many of the projects they can choose from.
